A RELIABLE, QUALITY PRODUCT FOR FINE DETAIL SOLDERING
I have been using this torch in my business for fine silver soldering for many years. Tried several others, but this is the best–and now they have improved the adjustment system for better flame control. I just bought 2 new ones to add to the 3 older ones that are still working after YEARS of use.
Update (5/18/2012): This item is currently on sale here for the lowest price I’ve seen.

Blazer Micro-Torch
I have a Blazer Micro Torch for at least four (4) years in the family. My original torch was damaged while in my tool bag unprotected recently. I know I could have fixed had my old one, but I decided to replace them. Since I brought him to work to impress workers solder lugs on 10 gauge cable, was one of my co-, and as I told him I wanted to get one for the company and for me, he asked that I get it too one. The micro-torch has its place. It definitely works great for heating up the solder lugs for soldering and in remote areas (no electricity). I even heated shrink tubing, but you must be careful not to wire the flame to the heat shrink tubing or the insulation shall in any. I like that I also control the intensity of the flame. Hey, if I do not like the first one I bought, I would have determined have not acquired another. Steve

Great little torch
I have used many similar torches in the service and repair of boats, this torch is the best that I have used to date. Very good quality, ease of operation and great performance.
