Poorly Designed for Repairs

This is a beautiful faucet but it is poorly designed for repairs. Mine started leaking through the valves (would always drip) and through the gooseneck connection. Unlike most faucets, nothing disassembles from above the sink. You have to go underneath the sink to repair. It’s very easy to install, but nearly impossible to fix.

Didn’t get what I ordered.

I don’t have an actual product review of this particular platform, but more like a warning that if you order it through Amazon as the seller, you may want to think twice. I ordered this one through Amazon, I think theirs was cheaper at the time and they sent me the K62819US model instead which is way bigger, too big.

Convenient mount makes kitchen use easy

I bought this for my kitchen to mount under our cabinets. It works well for the space and is easy to use. Installation was okay - we had to reinstall twice to make the mount work correctly.
Pros:
Good sound for my mid-sized kitchen. The sound is clear and easy to here even in another room.
Remote is convenient and easy to use.
Under cabinet mount gets the unit up and off my counter top so I don’t have to worry about getting the unit wet.
The unit can be removed quite easily and used on battery when needed.
Cons:
When my iPod (30) is sitting in the cradle it does not seem stable - it is very loose so I am worried about the mount connection becoming damaged. I don’t know if another size iPod would be more stable.
The FM antennae is a wire that is screwed into the back (can be removed) so it is inconvenient to move with the unit.
The unit can be snapped back and out of the way and the clasp is not as strong as it should be - if we bump the unit it will fall down easily.
Overall I am satisfied with this product. As you can see from my review, the Pros outweigh the cons for me.

RETURNING - After 2 weeks, ate a CD & wouldn’t give it back

1. Fine sound for the size, really liked that.

2. Waaaaaay too complicated to set things. This is one of those, “We’re only going to give you 10 buttons, so to set an alarm, you have to hit this button, then hit that button 4 times, then hit a third button. Complete pain in the neck to get to simple features. I might put up with that, but if you’re the sort of person who is frustrated by utterly mysterious ergonomics, be aware, this unit is the anti-iPhone.

3. The system uses an automated CD insert — you slide the CD into the front of the unit and a little motorized gripper pulls it in or pushes it out when you hit eject. After two weeks, mine stopped working. If I want to hear The Goldberg Variations, it’s great, but I was sort of thinking that it would play lots of DIFFERENT CDs, not just the one I put in a week ago!

Bottom line: I’m returning the unit with my CD of the Goldberg Variations still inside it, because I can’t get the furshlugginer thing out. I figure if it starts eating CDs in 2 weeks, there’s not much hope for this as a long term addition to the house.

A HUGE improvement! Plus comes with Juicer, Egg wisk…!

I received this food processor a few weeks ago and am so pleased! I previously had the Kitchenaid professional 11 cup model and this one is sooo much better! It’s amazing what increasing the size by just one cup does! I had this chocolate tofu pie recipe that never quite got blended in my old processer because it was too thick and heavy, but it blends to the smoothest consistency in this one. I no longer have to break it up into batches! Plus, the extra large feed tube is a definate improvement over the older smaller versions. And this one doesn’t jump around on my countertop like my older one did a bit. This one just seems REALLY solidly built. Don’t get me wrong, Kitchenaids older versions were also the best for their time, this one is just even better!

The design of this model is also very sleek and I’m no longer emberassed having my processor on my countertop.

Please note, this brushed nickel model also comes with an egg wisk, a citrus juicer attachment and an extra work bowl, which don’t come with the other models. I noticed this wasn’t mentioned in Amazon’s description but it should be. That alone justifies the slightly higher price, in addtition to the beautiful stainless finish and larger feed tube.
