I really like these boots. They are comfortable and unique. The only thing I don’t like is I have to loosen the laces all the way down to put them on and it takes a while. Not a pair of shoes you can put on in a hurry.

Amazon.com Product Description
For those ladies who are equal parts girly and tough, this lace-up boot from T.U.K. celebrates your unique style. Its leather upper is accented with a scalloped toe and heel and perforation detailing, while its chunky heel adds to its industrial-chic charm.

Cheap looking and painful!
I wanted to love these boots so much. They were shipped to me super fast and I was so excited to pull them on and try out a sassy new look. And then I opened the box. These boots look dynamite in the picture, but once you actually lay eyes upon them you see just how chintzy they are. Getting them on is an aerobic workout–you will probably break a nail or end up red and puffy by the time they’re snugly on your feet. I was looking for something fun to wear under long skirts and pants, but they cheapen the entire outfit. My husband said they looked downright trashy–and not in a sexy way. I knew they were polyurethane and bought them anyway based on the photo, but the material looks dull and nothing like leather or vinyl–and it smells gross. The manufacturers are not thinking of your comfort either–there was a very uncomfortable protruding flap between the toe box and the upper that rubs and rubs your poor dogs raw. I wore them around the house for a total of five minutes before yanking them off and filling out a return label, which is going to end up costing me $11 because the manufacturers don’t pay for return shipping unless the material arrives damaged. I’m surprised at the poor quality because with shipping they cost me $65. If you’re in the market for a pair of lace-up ankle boots, I highly advocate paying the extra $15-$20 and going with a higher quality retailer.
